Guide to Revoking a WhatsApp Group Link
WhatsApp groups have a limit to adding 1024 members. If you intend for your group link to only allow, for example, 100 members, you can manage this using the Revoke Link Option.
Below are the steps on how to use the Revoke feature:
Note: Only the WhatsApp group admin has permission to revoke an invite link.
Steps to Revoke Your Group Link:
- Open the specific WhatsApp group for which you want to revoke the invite link.
- Tap on the group name at the top to access group info.
- Scroll down and click on the “Invite via link” option.
- On the next screen, you will find a new option labeled “Revoke Link”.
- Tap on this “Revoke Link” button, and your current WhatsApp group invite link will be immediately revoked.
